KS95 for Kids®  Breaks $10 Million!

The 10th annual KS95 for Kids® Radiothon raised an amazing $841,563, increasing its grand fundraising total to more than $10.3 million for Children's Cancer Research Fund and Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare. Thank you to our donors, volunteers, families and sponsors who, during the past 10 years, have made miracles happen for kids!

Meet Sophia


When Sophia was four months old, her parents noticed she was having difficulty holding her head up.  They started asking questions and seeking answers.  Soon thereafter, Sophia was diagnosed with Type 1 Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) the most devastating form of the disease.

94.5/KS95-FM received the 2008 Service to Children Radio Award for the KS95 for Kids Radiothon. The National Association of Broadcasters hosted its 10th Annual Celebration of Service to America Awards on June 9, 2008 in Washington D.C.

Ways to Get Involved

Join us for the Life Time Fitness Torchlight Run 5K on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at the Basilica of St. Mary, Minneapolis. For each registration, the Life Time Fitness Foundation will donate a portion of the proceeds to KS95 for Kids.
