KS95 For Kids® raises money for Children's Cancer Research Fund and Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare, building a local community of caring and sharing for the benefit of children.
Children's Cancer Research Fund has a focused and clearly defined goal — to eradicate childhood cancer. The funds this nonprofit organization provides enable the University of Minnesota Cancer Center, a leading pediatric cancer research facility, to continue its pioneering efforts in the prevention, diagnoses, treatment and cure of childhood cancers. Many discoveries funded by Children’s Cancer Research Fund have revolutionized the way childhood cancer is treated worldwide. Through support of events such as the KS95 for Kids Radiothon, Children’s Cancer Research Fund can continue to make medical history and, most importantly, help children lead healthy, happy lives.
Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare meets the special health needs of people -- primarily children and teens -- who have physical and functional disabilities. Our mission is to help those we serve realize greater well-being, independence and enjoyment in life.
KS95 94.5 FM is an adult contemporary radio station that reaches over 400,000 listeners weekly. KS95 is locally owned and operated by Hubbard Broadcasting, Inc., Minneapolis/St. Paul. More than great music, KS95 is a personality driven radio station. Greg Thunder, mornings; Dez, mid-days; Moon & Staci in the afternoon; Ryan, evenings; and Eric, overnights and mornings, each add their individuality and personality to engage and involve listeners.
